What do I need?
To use Online Banking, you need a secure browser and Internet access. We recommend that you have the most recent version of Internet Explorer. 128-bit encryption is required.
What steps do I take?
Click the Enrollment Form here. Once the form displays, click print. Complete the form in full and return to your Customer Service Representative or mail to Online Banker at 114 West Church Street , Greeneville , TN 37743 . You will receive your username and password via email.
What do I need to know about my username and password?
Your username is permanent and will be assigned for you. The password you will receive in the email is temporary. You must change your password the first time you log in to Online Banking. Your new password must be 6-20 characters long, contain both alpha and numeric characters, and contain both upper and lower case letters. This password is case sensitive. Your password will expire every 60 days. If necessary, you may change your password by clicking “change password” while accessing your account. If you forget your username or password, please contact your local branch.
Is there a cost for Online Banking?
Online Banking is absolutely free for our consumer customers!
What transactions may I perform using Online Banking?
You can view account summary, account activity, transfer funds between HCB accounts, make loan payments, download account activity, pay bills, schedule automatic internal transfers, and retrieve check images.
What happens if I forget my username or password and become locked out of Online Banking?
If you experience problems with your username or password, please call your local branch office.
How secure is Online Banking?
Internet Banking will require you to enter a username and password. You should never distribute your username and password. Your username and password should never be written down. In addition, your Internet service provider must support Secured Socket Layers (SSL) and your browser must use a 128-bit encryption level. Your banking session data is encrypted (scrambled) when the closed lock appears in the address bar of your Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. When not a secure session, Internet Explorer’s lock is not shown. When you are finished using Online Banking, you should always logout.
